You can drove from kuantan to sungai lembing after that you can find many 4 wheel drive service that can bring you to the pelangi waterfall. There is only 4WD trail to reached the pelangi waterfall area. So the only choice you had is to hire the local that provide 4wd and guide to bring you. After 1 hour with 4wd trail you will reached the open area beside the sg lembing. This area is the last destination for 4wd after that you need to cross a river of sg lembing and jungle trekking about 40 minutes before you can reached the waterfall. The trekking is not hard but you might be extra careful when river cross the sungai lembing because that river is full of slippery stone and the current of the river can become very strong sometime. So you need to extra careful and wear proper boot or trekking shoes. The waterfall area will absolutely paid the price of your tiring trekking. It's a very beautiful place and if you came it at the right moment where the sun hits the waterfall you can easily see many beautiful rainbow on the waterfalls.
