Cycling: Bukit Putus

Bukit Putus is located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and is made up of the Federal Route 51 which connects Seremban to Kuala Pilah. The formerly main route was constructed by the British in 1920s (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Federal_Route_51) and remained as the notorious touge route for enthusiasts looking the the thrill of driving/riding. An alternative route has since been built in 2006 with its public use starting from 2009 but the old roads of Bukit Putus remained with fewer traffic. This old trunk road is not only popular amongst drivers, but along with tourists and jungle trekkers who also frequent the route to reach the foothills of Gunung Angsi.

Campada: Gunung Ledang, Malaysia

Situated 1,276m above sea level and 38km northeast the town of Muar, it is the highest mountain in Johor, sharing with the State of Malacca on the north side. The forest of towering and shady trees and natural setting offer a refreshing treat for tourists. The mountain is ideal for outdoor activities with challenging mountain trails and exotic flora and fauna. There are tracks leading to the summit of Gunung Ledang and it is favoured by local mountaineers in search of excitement and adventure. With crystal clear river waters and breathtaking waterfalls, the unspoiled environment beckons the visitor. The waterfalls at the foot of the mountain are popular picnic sports for families and school children. Various amenities like rest sheds, dressing rooms, camping sites, food stalls and car parks are provided here.

Chiling Waterfalls, Kuala Kubu Bharu

The chiling falls are probably one of the nature gems of Selangor, about 55km from Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Located near to Pekan Kuala Kubu Bharu you can reached the main entrance of Chiling Falls via road towards fraser hill. From the main road you need to park your cars at the side of the road and if you planned to stay overnight you might need to bring along all your personal belongings and don't leave it in the car as some break-in case has been reported especially during night. No proper parking are available at the entrance. Risk are on your own responsibilities.

The falls can be reached within a 45 minutes of trekking. It's a land and river crossing trail and the river current can be really fast especially after rain so might need to be extra-careful and watch out for the slippery stone.
